This poster represents the painting by Leonardo Da Vinci which he started painting in 1503 and finished in 1517. It's a portrait of the Italian noblewoman Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. Leonardo never gave the painting to the Giocondo family, he left it in his will to his favored apprentice Salai. On display at the Louvre in Paris since 1797, although never sold, it is currently worth 870 million US, the most expensive painting in the world.
