This poster represents an oil painting by Dutch Golden Age painter Johannes Vermeer, dated 1665. The work has been in the collection of the Mauritshuis in The Hague since 1902. Valued at 10.6 million US, partly due to the blue pigment which was more valuable than gold in the 17th century.
